Here is a faster method on how to do this than described in Adesh Rampat's tip Batch cleanup of temp files.
You can use the Deltree command to remove unwanted files and directories. Deltree from Windows 95/98 and DOS will work with all the MS operating systems I know of and will remove unwanted files.
It should be used with great care though; it will also ignore system security and will remove folders that have become locked in no-man's-land that the operating system will not allow you to delete!
deltree /y *.*
