Change your CMD completion character

Working at the command prompt, you frequently have to type in long file names, or get used to the tilde key.

As an alternative, I've changed my command processor completion character to the TAB key. Now, I only have to type the first letter of the file or directory then hit Tab and the rest will fill in automatically!

Set your completion character (I use TAB, value of 9.) in this key:

  • [HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftCommand Processor] "CompletionChar"=dword:00000009

You'll love it!
