Ever have to use the CMD prompt to FTP or rename a file that won't rename under explorer? Do you hate having to change directories over and over to get to the working directory or frequently update your enviromental?

Simply go to Settings/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Environmental Variables

Once there, click on the "new" command button, type in a short name as the shortcut in the "variable name" field and the directory name in the "variable value" field. I use "DOC" to drop it into my custom "My Documents" work area.
