Forcing DNS re-registration on Win2k DC

Often, when you use the "ipconfig /registerdns" command line, in an attempt, to force re-registration of the DNS records for a Win2k Domain Controller, not all the required records will be re-registered.

The answer is to stop and then restart the netlogon service. As part of the service startup, the service registers all the entries in the file "netlogon.dns."

This simple fix ended a day of troubleshooting trying to get the server GUID entry to come up on our Unix DNS servers.
