Tip

Get out fast

For those of us who work on NT workstations and are starting to use Windows 2000, there is a difference to locking your workstation when you have to run to a meeting or something important. Instead of using CTL-ALT-DEL then W to lock the workstation like on NT, you must use CTL-ALT-DEL then K to lock the workstation on Win2k. Just a slight difference, but a good thing to remember the next time you hardly glance at your screen before leaving for that important meeting.
