Memory upgrade in Windows 2000 causes blue screen on reboot
When adding memory to Windows 2000, a blue screen may appear upon reboot. Try removing the extra memory and letting the machine completely reboot. Remove any 'problem devices' listed in the computer management 'components' section. Shutdown and add the extra memory, the system should now come up.
