Sometimes, you may notice an application remains in the 'Add/Remove Programs' list, even after uninstalling the corresponding application from your system. You can remove such persistent applications using the following method:
  1. Goto the Windows registry.

  2. Continue onto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

  3. All the applications that are listed in the 'Add/Remove Programs' are displayed here. Simply select the corresponding application and delete it.
